Cotopaxi
Description:
To prioritize sustainability for both people and planet, we consider every phase of a product’s lifecycle, including partnering with factories that treat workers right, sourcing sustainably minded materials, and making durable gear that lasts. By 2025, we plan to use recycled, repurposed, or responsibly sourced materials in all of our products.
Ethical Sourcing
We’re proud to partner with factories that agree to rigorous codes of conduct, complete audits or relevant certifications, and promote fair labor practices.
Our Supply Chain Commitments
To ensure our supply chain protects human rights and treats people well, we address issues as they arise and have committed to:
Packs and Bags Factory
Located in the Province of Bataan in the Philippines, Dong-in Entech CO., LTD is our principal pack maker. Known for producing best-in-class technical items, this factory partners with us in reducing fabric waste through our Del Día Collection. Dong-in collects unused material produced by other brands in its facilities, then we turn those scraps into packs. Not only does this program help keep good material out of landfills, but it allows Dong-in employees to be creative, resulting in completely one-of-a-kind packs.
Dong-In has also completed the Higg Index facility module, which measures everything from water usage to worker wages. This signifies the factory’s commitment to working toward transparent fair social labor and environmentally sound practices.
Honest Efforts
As just one B Corp, we can only do so much to move the needle on global human rights. But we promise to remain vigilant and honest about the challenges we face, and we’re committed to dealing with issues quickly and transparently. In our annual impact report, we discuss these challenges and how we’ve addressed them.
